The fall semester is finally drawing to a close. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a brand new year are all right around the corner, waiting for us to reach them.

Students that are on the ball have already begun to prepare for the coming year when cool weather and new classes will be rolling in. Classes have already been signed up for, apartments have been found, and travel plans for returning home have been made.

Maybe you have even already begun to plan out your New Year’s resolutions. Staying fit, eating healthy, being nicer and such are all good promises to make to yourself as you head bravely into the new year, but what are you planning to do so that this upcoming semester at college will be a little easier than your last?

One thing you could do to make college easier in the new year is to browse through dozens of shopping sites in hope of finding some items that will help. Fortunately, Uloop.com has saved us all time and a lot of digging. Uloop.com has compiled hundreds of items geared towards making college life easier for students like you and me.

Using this list, I have come up with five things to make your college life easier in the new year.

1. Igloo Mini Compact Refrigerator: $39.95

If you like having quick access to cold drinks and snacks and don’t want to spend a dollar or more every time you’re out on campus and get the urge for something cold and sweet to quench your thirst, you should look into getting a mini-fridge. Even if you have a meal plan, there’s nothing better than coming back to your dorm and having a cold drink ready to pop out of your personal fridge to aid you in your studying endeavors.

Some food places close early on campus and around town, so if you come back to the dorm on a late night, it would be nice to have something cold to sip on.

This mini fridge is small enough so that it won’t take up a lot of your space, which is good if you’re living in a cramped dorm room. The Igloo Mini Compact Refrigerator is also capable of being stored on or beneath a desk and can hold up to six cans.

2. Pendaflex Decoflex Desktop File: $12.28

Have you ever misplaced a paper that you were supposed to turn in for class and couldn’t find it no matter how hard you looked? It’s easy to get overwhelmed with flyers, schedules, notes, and homework as a student. Over the course of a semester, you can rack up all kinds of paper.

With so many papers, it’s easy to get stuff mixed up and to lose track of which papers are where. This desktop file can prevent that from happening. This portable file even comes with five hanging folders, tabs, and inserts so you can keep things labeled and organized.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to get organized, getting the Pendaflex Decoflex Desktop File would make a great first step in that direction. Save yourself from misplacing assignments!

3. Lenovo Flex 4 Convertible 2-in-1 14″ Touchscreen Laptop: $353.00

As college students, it seems like we’re always on a budget. We may not ever be as aware of that budget as we are when it’s time to get a new laptop. With some laptops costing up to $1,000 or more, it can be easy to think that laptops priced at $300 or lower must be cheap for a reason. As someone who has owned multiple laptops ranging from $100 to close to $1,000, that doesn’t have to be the case.

The Lenovo Flex 4 Convertible is a laptop with a 10-point multitouch screen and 360 degrees folding capabilities. It also has a dual-core processor, comes with Windows 10 installed, and has up 8.5 hours of battery life.

4. Vilano Aluminum Road Bike 21 Speed Shimano: $258.18

Tired of getting to class late because of how long it takes you to walk to your class’s building? Get yourself a bike and never worry about being late again! Coast down those hills on the way to class at the speed of light and arrive to class without all of the sweat that you usually build up because you have to walk 20 minutes to get to class.

Riding a bike to class can cut your travel time in half, saving you from arriving late for a test. This 21-speed bike means you’ll be able to adjust to all kinds of terrains, making it easier to traverse not only around campus but wherever you may want to take your new bike.

5. Anxiety Stress Relief Fidget Cube: $7.95

Something that most students find themselves dealing with at one point or another is stress. Piles of homework, upcoming tests, pop quizzes, money problems, and issues with friends or roommates can all cause stress. You might have test anxiety or have trouble focusing during homework. An Anxiety Stress Relief Fidget Cube might be something that can help you ease those worries and fears somewhat.

This Fidget Cube has all kinds of buttons you can mash and levers to switch that could help to take your mind off of your nerves before a presentation and help you focus instead on what you’re going to say and how you’re going to say it. Fidget Cubes aren’t just for kids; they can help students relieve stress and keep you focused when you really need it.
